
Zachary Coggins, CRPC
Investment Advisor Representative
Zach is a graduate of the University of South Carolina from the Moore School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. He has been with David's practice since 2012, where he started out as a Life Insurance agent. Over the years Zach has worked with families, small businesses, and high net worth clients to help them plan for, invest in, and work toward protecting their financial future. Zach’s niche is working with business owners that love to hunt and fish. Zach also attended the College for Financial Planning where he earned his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation. In the securities industry, Zach has earned his Series 7 and 66 registrations and is currently a Financial Advisor with Milestone Wealth Advisors.
Both David and Zach work as a team with each of their clients and are very passionate about the difference they can make before, in and through their client’s retirement. They have helped many people retire without worry or concern because of the plans they have put into place for them.
They feel that every client deserves to have a plan for retirement tailored just for them. This is why they spend so much time getting to know their clients’ needs, wants, desires, personality type and more before creating a customized approach that will be best suited for them.
Zach is a man of many hats, and he loves them all. His days are spent working as the co-founding advisor of Milestone Wealth Advisors, but his nights and weekends are reserved for his wife Sullivan, friends, family, and 3 pups Missy, Sadie, and Gauge. Zach enjoys spending time outside doing activities like hunting or fishing - which he does quite often! He also enjoys playing golf whenever possible too.
Zach is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA-SC), where he serves as a board member. He has completed courses in the Leadership in Life Institute and is a LILI graduate, his was also awarded the YAT-Leader of the Year award in 2021**. He is a qualifying member of the *Million Dollar Round Table.
Zach is an advocate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where he raises money for blood cancer research and patient assistance. He was awarded the 2022 Midlands Man of the Year award to most funds raised for blood cancer research. He currently sits on the leadership committee for the Midlands LLS Non-profit.
**NAIFA YAT Leader of the Year Award is to honor a newer agent or financial advisor in South Carolina who has served the association, the industry, and the community with distinction. Nominees must be a NAIFA member that is 40 years of age or under, or have less than 5 years in the industry. Winners are selected by current South Carolina chapter NAIFA members based on the nominees service to NAIFA.
